Terms of Service

Last updated: March 13, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using CSBoard ("the Service", "the Platform", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and CSBoard.

2. Service Description

CSBoard is a CS2 virtual item marketplace that provides two core services:

2.1 Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Trading

A platform where users can create, browse, and respond to trade offers for CS2 items. P2P trades are conducted directly between users through Steam's official trading system. CSBoard facilitates discovery and listing but does not act as an intermediary in P2P trades.

2.2 Direct Buy & Sell

CSBoard operates a direct marketplace where users can sell their CS2 skins to the Platform and purchase skins from the Platform's inventory. In these transactions, CSBoard acts as the counterparty — not an escrow service. The Platform buys items into its own inventory and sells items from its own inventory.

Important: CSBoard is not affiliated with Valve Corporation or Steam. CS2, Counter-Strike, and Steam are trademarks of Valve Corporation.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 13 years old to browse the Platform and create trade offers.
  • You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Buy/Sell, Balance, Deposit, and Withdrawal features.
  • By using financial features, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into binding financial transactions.

4. Account & Steam Integration

CSBoard uses Steam OpenID for authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Steam account. By logging in, you authorize us to access your publicly available Steam profile information (Steam ID, username, avatar) and, when you provide a Trade URL, your CS2 inventory data via Steam's public API.

  • One CSBoard account per Steam account.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must not share your account credentials or Trade URL with untrusted parties.
  • You must provide a valid Steam Trade URL to use the Buy/Sell functionality.

5. Selling Skins to CSBoard

You may sell eligible CS2 skins to CSBoard. The process works as follows:

  1. Price Quote: You select items from your inventory. The Platform displays a quoted price for each item based on current market data. Prices include the Platform's service fee — what you see is what you receive.
  2. Offer Acceptance: You confirm the sale. The Platform sends a Steam trade offer to your account requesting the selected items.
  3. Steam Confirmation: You accept the trade offer in Steam and confirm it via Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator (if enabled).
  4. Balance Credit: Once the Steam trade is completed and confirmed, the agreed amount is credited to your CSBoard balance.

Important conditions:

  • Quoted prices are valid for a limited time and may change based on market fluctuations.
  • The Platform reserves the right to decline any sale at its discretion.
  • Items must be tradeable (no Steam trade holds or trade bans).
  • The sale is final once the Steam trade is confirmed — no cancellations after confirmation.
  • If you decline or do not accept the Steam trade offer within the specified timeframe, the offer expires and no balance is credited.

6. Buying Skins from CSBoard

You may purchase CS2 skins from the Platform's inventory using your CSBoard balance:

  1. Browse & Select: You browse available items in the Platform's inventory and select items to purchase.
  2. Payment: The purchase amount is deducted from your CSBoard balance. You must have sufficient balance to complete the purchase.
  3. Delivery: The Platform sends a Steam trade offer containing the purchased items to your Steam account.
  4. Acceptance: You accept the trade offer in Steam to receive your items.

Important conditions:

  • Purchase prices are based on market data and include a service margin.
  • Prices may differ from prices on other marketplaces — the Platform is not obligated to match third-party prices.
  • Items are subject to availability. An item may be sold to another buyer before your purchase is processed.
  • You must accept the Steam trade offer within the specified timeframe. If the offer expires, the purchase may be cancelled and your balance refunded.
  • Once you accept the Steam trade offer, the transaction is final.

7. Balance & Payments

7.1 Account Balance

Your CSBoard balance is a digital ledger representing funds available for purchasing items or withdrawing. The balance is not a bank account, deposit account, or e-money. It represents a right to use funds within the Platform.

7.2 Deposits

  • You can deposit funds via supported cryptocurrency payment methods (USDT and other supported currencies).
  • Deposits are processed through third-party payment providers (NowPayments).
  • Deposited funds are credited to your balance after blockchain confirmation.
  • Deposit processing times depend on the blockchain network and are outside CSBoard's control.

7.3 Withdrawals & Payouts

  • You can withdraw your balance via USDT to an external cryptocurrency wallet.
  • Minimum withdrawal amount may apply.
  • Withdrawals are processed within 1–3 business days after the request is submitted.
  • The Platform reserves the right to verify your identity before processing withdrawals.
  • Withdrawal requests are final once submitted and cannot be cancelled once processing has begun.

7.4 Balance Freeze

The Platform may temporarily freeze all or part of your balance if:

  • Suspected fraudulent activity is detected on your account.
  • A chargeback, dispute, or investigation is initiated.
  • Required by law or regulatory authority.
  • Violations of these Terms are being investigated.

Frozen funds will be released upon successful resolution of the investigation, or forfeited if the investigation confirms a violation.

8. Pricing & Fees

  • Market-Based Pricing: Buy and sell prices are determined by aggregated market data from multiple sources and updated regularly.
  • Service Margin: The Platform's service fee is included in the quoted buy/sell prices. The sell price you receive is net of our fee. The buy price you pay includes our margin. There are no hidden fees.
  • Price Volatility: CS2 item prices fluctuate based on supply and demand. The Platform does not guarantee that prices will remain stable. A price quoted at the time of listing may differ from the price at the time of transaction.
  • P2P Trading: CSBoard does not charge fees for creating or responding to P2P trade offers. We reserve the right to introduce fees with advance notice.
  • Network Fees: Cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals may incur blockchain network fees. These are separate from CSBoard's fees and are charged by the respective blockchain networks.

9. Peer-to-Peer Trading

When using the P2P trading features, you understand and agree that:

  • P2P trades occur directly between users through Steam's trading system.
  • CSBoard does not hold, escrow, or intermediate any items in P2P trades.
  • You are solely responsible for verifying the legitimacy of P2P trade partners and the items being traded.
  • CSBoard provides reputation scores and user profiles to assist your judgment, but does not guarantee accuracy.
  • CSBoard is not liable for losses resulting from P2P trades.

10. Trade Safety & User Due Diligence

You are solely responsible for verifying the legitimacy of all trades.

  • Verify items match the listing before confirming any Steam trade.
  • Check user reputation and profile history.
  • Be cautious of deals that seem too good to be true.
  • Never trade outside of Steam's official trading system.
  • Report suspicious behavior to our support team immediately.

11. Dispute Resolution

11.1 Buy/Sell Disputes

For disputes arising from direct buy/sell transactions with the Platform:

  • Disputes must be reported within 24 hours of the transaction via the Support chat or email.
  • You must provide evidence (screenshots, Steam trade history) to support your claim.
  • The Platform will investigate and respond within 3 business days.
  • Successful Steam trade confirmation is considered proof of delivery.
  • Refunds are issued at the Platform's sole discretion based on investigation findings.
  • If a refund is approved, funds are returned to your CSBoard balance (not to external payment methods).

11.2 P2P Trade Disputes

CSBoard is not a party to P2P trades and cannot arbitrate disputes between users. We may assist by providing trade history data and suspending reported accounts, but we cannot reverse Steam trades or compensate for losses in P2P transactions.

12. Premium Subscriptions

  • Premium features (auto-posting, auto-bump, always-online, enhanced visibility) are available via paid subscriptions.
  • Subscriptions may auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Refunds are not provided for partially used subscription periods.
  • The Platform reserves the right to modify premium features and pricing with advance notice.
  • Premium status does not exempt users from these Terms or provide preferential treatment in disputes.

13. Referral Program

  • Users may earn rewards by referring new users to the Platform.
  • Referral rewards are credited to your CSBoard balance.
  • Self-referrals, fake accounts, and referral abuse will result in forfeiture of rewards and potential account suspension.
  • The Platform reserves the right to modify or discontinue the referral program at any time.

14. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Scamming, fraud, or deceptive practices
  • Money laundering or using the Platform for illegal financial activities
  • Creating fake listings, misleading offers, or price manipulation
  • Using stolen accounts, items, or payment methods
  • Automated scraping, botting, or API abuse without permission
  • Exploiting bugs, vulnerabilities, or system errors for personal gain
  • Harassment, hate speech, or abusive behavior toward other users
  • Circumventing account restrictions, bans, or security measures
  • Any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations

Violation may result in immediate account suspension, balance freeze, and permanent ban. Funds associated with prohibited activities may be forfeited.

15. Content & Listings

By creating listings, posting comments, or submitting content, you grant CSBoard a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute your content on the Platform. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms.

16. Intellectual Property

The CSBoard platform, including its design, code, features, and branding, is the intellectual property of CSBoard. CS2 item images, names, and descriptions are the property of Valve Corporation and are used under fair use for the purpose of facilitating trades.

17. Disclaimer of Warranties

We do not guarantee that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times
  • Any trades will be successful, profitable, or safe
  • Price information will be accurate, current, or complete
  • Items purchased will match third-party marketplace prices
  • Your balance will always be accessible without delay

18. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CSBOARD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Loss of items due to scams or fraudulent P2P trades
  • Financial losses from price fluctuations
  • Losses from failed, delayed, or incorrect cryptocurrency transactions
  • Account suspensions or bans by Steam
  • Data loss, security breaches, or service downtime
  • Losses resulting from unauthorized access to your account

In any case, CSBoard's total liability to you shall not exceed the amount of your CSBoard balance at the time of the claim.

19. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CSBoard, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any third-party rights, or any trades you conduct through the Platform.

20. Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms or suspected fraud.
  • You may request account deletion by contacting support.
  • Upon termination, you may withdraw your remaining unfrozen balance within 30 days. After 30 days, unclaimed balances may be forfeited.
  • The Platform is not obligated to provide refunds for active premium subscriptions upon termination for cause.

21. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international laws and regulations. Any disputes that cannot be resolved through our dispute resolution process shall be submitted to binding arbitration.

22. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or a prominent notice on the Platform at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
